Sarah Michelle Gellar was born on April 14th 1977,in New York. By the age of three she was spotted by an agent whilst eating in a restaurant with her mother.
At the age of six, Sarah had already stared in her first advertisment for Burger King, and she was attending the Columbia Grammar School.
This was the start of a beautiful career. |
It was in 1996 when Sarah Michelle Gellar was chosen to play the lead role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. This was to be a tv spin off of the original film with the same name which was made in 1992. |

Sarah plays a sixteen-year-old Buffy Summers who is your average teenager by day, and not your average Vampire Slayer by night.
This interesting mix has made Buffy the Vampire Slayer a cult show in just one season. |
Sarah's movie career really took off in 1997 which saw her is I Know What You Did Last Summer, and Scream 2.
Then, in 1999, came one of Sarah Michelle Gellar's best performances, with fans seeing her as the seductive Kathryn in Cruel Intentions.
